Rudraksha is the seed of a particular tree which usually grows at a high altitude in the mountains – mainly in the Himalayan region. Today, they are mostly found in Nepal, Burma, Thailand or Indonesia. These seeds have a very unique vibration and for this reason are the most revered and sacred beads used for malas.
This mala has been dipped in the blessed waters of the holy Ganges River and carries with it great transformative and healing potential.
The beads are believed to provide inner calm, peace, and free one from negative thought and energies. The beads get darker over time as they absorb your oils and energy. This is thought to strengthen the rudraksha and give it a unique relationship to your spiritual unfolding.
Rudraksha creates a cocoon of your energy and wraps you in positivity. It acts as a kind of shield against negative energies and it is known to purify your mind, heart and speech, and to give you steadfast guidance on the path.
You may simply choose to wear this mala to absorb the benefits of the rudraksha or to empower it with mantra, through japa (repetition). Blessed be the one who wears it!
